would stay here again
Had a lovely stay in a small double room. It came with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, private bathroom, and plenty of towels. Felt cozy thanks to the carpeted floor and nice heating. Lots of toiletries like shampoo, body soap, and a hairdryer were provided. The hotel also had a charming garden area for relaxation.

The Mount Pleasant Hotel offered a pleasant experience with a beautiful garden and welcoming owners. The decor felt a bit dated, and a larger selection of breakfast items would have been appreciated. the overall atmosphere was lovely, and I would certainly recommend it for a stay.

The decor of The Mount made me feel like I was in a refined English tea house, with spacious lounges and delightful garden views, all very accessible for someone like me who prefers to avoid any climbing.
More seating options in the lounges would be great.

Room was small but cozy, felt light and airy. Everything was clean, and the furnishings were nice. The bathroom was modern too. Not much to complain about, but a mini fridge would have been handy. it felt really comfortable and well-maintained.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed the local attractions and climbed the steep hill out of Newton Poppleford. The atmosphere was great, and the staff truly cared about making our stay enjoyable. Make sure to explore the quirky lounge and enjoy a hearty dinner!
The only downside was the room being a bit small for our luggage. A little more space would have been great for all our bags.

Charming Stay with Excellent Hospitality
The cozy atmosphere here makes it ideal for a restful getaway. I enjoyed the attentive service from the staff, who were genuinely welcoming. A highlight was the Sunday roast, the beef was succulent and paired with an incredible gravy. Be sure to reserve a table early!
